Responses & more learning

So I've checked the Chinese Calendar and it predicts a girl. Jereme has labeled the baby Junior (trying to convince it to become a boy). I tell ya, I will be shocked if we have a boy. Only six more months until I get my answer :)

Gas... I shouldn't need to say anything more, but I will. Now, my maiden name is Weber and along with that I inherited the trait of being able to pass some serious gas. It only doubles with pregnancy. I doubt that there will be any hiding it. It's the worst at work... I've learned if your must, crop dust... do not, let it go in one place... especially your office...that is too risky.

Do inny belly buttons become outties when pregnant? Seriously... I don't know? I've never had an outtie, so that would be really weird. Prolly would end up taping it down.

I hadn't heard of the rubber band trick before, but that is fantastic! I'm keeping it to myself or Jereme will try using it for himself. Last week he tried to convince himself that he could still fit into a pair of his Marine cammies... amusing. Speaking of pregnany pants, did anyone use the Belly Band and like it? I've heard some mixed reviews...

Oh and I seem to be forgetting everything. Even if I write it down. In the past week, I have forgot about a concert and booked a business trip over it. Thanks goodness I got it rescheduled. I also forgot about dinner with friends. My mind seems to be constantly wondering. It is scary to say, but I may have to hand over calendar duties to Jereme if this keeps up.

Time to run for today... everyone have a good weekend!

Oh, no ... don't hand over the calendar just yet. Just start using a calendar religiously. Do nothing without first consulting the calendar, and record everything on it. That's how I stayed sane. I'm afraid to say that the brain cells are slow to return after pregnancy. I think Mira got the half I lost.

So you're not finding out what you are having?
Your brain will NEVER be the same, because even when you think you start gaining your memory, the sports, activities, and such begin... Once you are a mom, you are screwed. There is nothing more stressful, scary, and time consuming than parenting, however, there is NOTHING that will reward you like parenting!

Some "innies" do pop out. Mine got close but never really did pop out all the way.

Yeah, I was awful at remembering stuff when I was pregnant. Like the other girls say, you never really return to your "old" memory. Ha!! The joys of pregnancy!

I once forgot to take my ATM card from the machine when I was pregnant. Beware--strange things can happen. And I'm not entirely sure the "Mommy" brain ever completely goes away!

Yes being preggers will render you stupid at times. I actually forgot to order lunch for a lunch training at work. I think that has been the worst offense thus far. As for the belly button, I am almost 30 weeks and mine is still an innie, barely. I did not buy into the belly band. they looked neat, but I thought I would end up buy maternity pants anyways, so i may as well give in early and get a lot of use out of them.
