Gobble, gobble

Whoo hoo, turkey day is just around the corner. Usually this isn't a favorite holiday, but this year is different. Good food here we come and I get to wear stretchy pants! Today I'm wearing my, "Got Cravings" t-shirt in honor of the upcoming occassion.

We had an ultrasound this past Monday. Baby is growing just as expected. They estimate the weight around 2lbs 9oz. And its little heart could be seen thumping away at about 149 beats per minute. I'm sure we'll get some more information at our next regular doctor appointment.

I did find out that the placenta has moved enough for me to delivery naturally, which is good! The bad news is little baby VB has decided that she/he is not ready to face head down just yet and is laying sideways... actually butt first is what we were told. There is still plenty of time to move into position, so no reason to panic just yet, but they will monitor it closely. For now I guess I get a big old head jamming into my ribs :) Ha! and here I thought that was the baby's butt!

We have a few new pics, but they aren't as good as the first ones. I'll add them once we have a chance to scan them in.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving to you guys too! Glad to hear everything went well :) Alana didn't move into head down position until I was about 36 weeks. She was much to busy doing summersaults. Enjoy the good food this Turkey Day!!

Parker and Danielle both waited until the last minute to turn upside down, Danielle was more a summersaulter, and Parker, well he just "jumped" every now and again. Enjoy your Turkey Day! Give us a call if you are looking for a place to sit back and enjoy your stretchy pants. And BTW, why can't Thanksgiving also be known as National Sweat Pant day???

Bri and Brady both were that way also. Be glad at least the butt is down. Bri was the opposite (sunny side up) and never ended up turning. Brady waited until 2 days before be was born to turn. Can't wait to see new pics!! Glad everything else is okay!
