Well, the RNC has finally left town and took most of the weirdos with it. Thank goodness! We only had one evacuation in our office. The police pretty much cleared out all office buildings in downtown... of course, this would happen on the day that I had already scheduled a Dr. appointment and was going to be gone anyways. Just my luck.
Speaking of that appointment... everything is right on track. I've gained 4 pounds from my starting weight. I am fairly positive all four pounds came from last week/weekend. Between traveling and eating out and then the golf tourney I had enough fat/sugar for the next six months.
Heatbeat is at 157 and the Dr. said that my baby moves around a lot, which makes me hope that I will start feeling the little bugger soon! I feel all kinds of things now, but I can't tell what's gas or just my guts being pushed and what the baby would feel like. I am also excited because my Dr. says that I am still in the clear to sleep on my back. Whoo hoo! This side sleeping business wasn't working out too well. Every couple of hours I would wake up on my back anyways. Ultra Sound is scheduled for Oct. 2nd... YEAH!!!

YAY!!! How cute! I'll have to send you my belly picture...you definitely stretch out more the second time around. And even though I was really sick for the first 17 weeks I still managed to gain 16 lbs. I can't believe you have only gained 4 lbs. WOW!! :) Side sleeping does stink. Hopefully you wont get heart burn at the end and have to sleep upright. What hospital do you deliver at? I was just clearing out old e-mails and came across one that is almost a year old from you! You had just stopped taking the pill--it was cute :) Jeremy has been down doing security for the RNC. He finally comes home on Saturday!
I think I gained 4lbs the day I found out I was preggers! You look great, hope you have a wonderful birthday. The baby moving initially feels like butterflies would on your hand but in your belly, being that you are small you will most likely feel the baby sooner than someone of a larger stature. Are you finding out what you are having??? I say don't, cause that is always a fun surprise, we couldn't tell what Parker was when I wanted to, i was so mad, and when I found out at a 7 month ultra sound, I was actually sad, even though I wanted a boy, it was fun not knowing.
Cute! I see the "bump!"
