Best Week Ever... sort of

I've made it half way, YIPPPEEE! Really it has gone pretty fast, but in thinking about it, most of this half, I was hiding the fact that I was pregnant. Now the real growing begins.

Speaking of growing, I've deemed this week, "Maternity Week." I'm wearing maternity pants for the first time ever today and oh are they comfortable! It's like you're wearing sweatpants. I am not so much a fan of the styles available to me, but what the heck, I only have to do this for another 20 (or less) weeks.

And, this week I get to see my little bugger for the first time! We'll see if Jereme breaks down in the doctor's office and has to find out what it is. For now, we're saying it's going to be a surprise, but decisions changes quickly in our world. I'll post my 20 week and ultrasound pics later on this week.

I figured I'd do a quick recap on my first half of things you learn when pregnant:

1. Prenatal vitamins. I've learned, you gotta take 'em; they get better with time. They still smell.
2. Bathroom breaks are still important, actually even more so than the first trimester. Waking up in the middle of the night is normal now. I've learned to keep a clear path, so not to trip or stub your toe while making your way half asleep.
3. The monster in my closet has not gone away. I've learned, wearing maternity pants is the best way to fight back.
4. Stupid boobs. I've learned, go in and get remeasured... probably not wearing the right size anymore.
5. Ice cream... I still love ice cream. I've learned nothing more than what I already knew. Keep it stocked in the freezer or you'll be sorry.
6. Sleep is still important. At least now, I can stay awake for most of the news. I have learned that not being able to sleep on your stomach is a major pain. I should have enjoyed it more while I could have.
7. Jereme still makes no sense when drinking, nor do other people. I've learned to choose my battles. It's not worth getting worked up over something that the other person doesn't understand. If need be, let 'em sleep in the car instead of waking him up when you get home :)

Adios for now!

Let 'em sleep it off in the car, I LOVED those days not for the annoyance of dealing with drunks, but I got the bed to myself for a couple of hours :)

Just a reminder... if you find out what you are having you MUST call me, I don't want to read about it... Also, the fact that you have 20 weeks or less, you might want to prepare for 20 weeks or more... that is the time that will snail by, every hour past your due date...

I always told you I loved maternity pants :) even though they are ugly, people aren't looking at your pants anyway, they are looking at your growing belly.
